Chomp Pup

Two Chomp Pups in Super Mario Galaxy.
First appearance Super Mario Galaxy (2007)
Latest appearance Super Mario 3D All Stars (2020)
Species origin Chain Chomp
Not to be confused with Chain Chomplet.

Chomp Pups are small Chomps that appear in the video games Super Mario Galaxy, Super Mario Galaxy 2, and Super Mario 3D All Stars. They act exactly like their bigger counterparts but are smaller and have high-pitched barks. Some Chomp Pups (such as the ones in Chompworks Galaxy) can go in a circular line, something that normal Chomp Heads cannot.

However, regardless of their size, they are still invincible besides getting hit by Rainbow Mario, getting hit by a Stretch Plant and holding them with the Co-op Player so they run into each other. They release Star Bits when defeated.
