Cluckbooms (also called Bomb Chickens or Roosters) are enemies appearing in Super Mario Galaxy and Super Mario Galaxy 2. They are chickens that lay eggs that will explode after a few seconds when layed. They are orange and black in appearance and have the ability of flight. The eggs look similar to Bugaboom's explosive eggs. They are very hard to defeat, because they are incredibly high in the air. A well aimed Star Bit can, however, make it fall down and the player can then give it a good whack. If there is a Tweester nearby, the player can try to aim at the Cluckboom's head. They are only found in Dusty Dune Galaxy in the original game. Super Mario Galaxy 2 had them in Slipsand Galaxy.
