Boss Galaga is an enemy from the Namco-developed Galaga games, that appears as Pac-Man and Ms. Pac-Man's special item in Mario Kart Arcade GP, Mario Kart Arcade GP 2 and Mario Kart Arcade GP DX. It also appears as a regular throwable item in Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS / Wii U. In his Super Smash Bros. appearances, once a player picks throws him, he will search for a opponent to begin sucking up with its tractor beam. Once he successfully does so, he will stall momentarily before flying up in the air and taking the player off the stage, costing the player a life.
