Special Orders
Special Orders is a game mode that is exclusive to the Solo mode in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U. In it, players can choose between Master Orders and Crazy Orders, which gives the players various tickets with objectives that have to be completed.
Master Orders
In Master Orders, the player first chooses a character to play as. Next, the player gets to choose between three tickets. Each ticket has a challenge that the player has to complete in order to get its reward. The tickets have five different difficulty levels, which range from Easy, Normal, Hard, Very Hard, and Intense. The difficulty of the ticket can influence how hard the opponents will be, along with how good the reward will be if it's completed.
Players are required to spend gold in order to play Master Orders, and the ticket's difficulty influences how much gold is needed to play.

The ticket challenges can range from a 1-minute timed battle, a 2-minute stock battle, a 1-minute coin battle, a stamina battle, and a horde battle. Additional effects can also be implemented onto the ticket challenges, such as making players start the match while giant-sized, or being able to reflect projectile attacks. Easier tickets can give additional effects that often benefit the player, while harder tickets can give additional effects that either favor the opponents, hinder the player, or both. If a ticket has a hammer icon present, then items will appear during the match.
Sometimes, a Master Order can involve playing the Home-Run Contest or Target Blast game modes. In Home-Run Contest, the player is required to send Sandbag flying over a certain distance, while in Target Blast, a certain amount of points have to be acquired with just two bombs.
No matter which ticket is chosen, once a Master Order is completed or failed, a new set of three tickets will be presented for the players to choose from. This in return means that players are not able to choose the same Master Order more than once.
Rewards for completing a Master Order can range from gold, a custom part, a CD, or even a Crazy Orders Pass. If the reward is a custom part, a series symbol will be displayed next to the reward, which can give players an idea that the reward, whether it's Equipment or a Custom Special, is for at least one character from the chosen franchise. Sometimes, the players will receive more than one custom part, but while the first custom part will always be affiliated with the chosen franchise, the others are either completely random, or are affiliated with the character that the players were using. Additionally, the extra custom parts are always the same category as that of the main reward; if the reward is equipment, all extra rewards will also be equipment.
If the reward's series symbol is the Super Smash Bros. symbol, then the player also has a chance to win a custom headgear part, or a custom outfit part.
Crazy Orders
Crazy Orders is the second kind of Special Order that players can play. Instead of playing one ticket, players have to complete as many tickets as they can within a 10-minute period without getting KO'd. Players either have to pay 5000G, or one Crazy Orders Pass to play this game mode.
Much like with Master Orders, players can choose between three tickets, with each one offering a different objective. The objectives can include free-for-alls, giant battles, horde battles, and metal battles. However, unlike with Master Orders, these tickets will never offer any additional effects. Tickets that have hammer icons mean that items will appear during the match, and the possible rewards are the same as that with Master Orders.
Players start their first turn with 0% damage, and whenever a ticket is completed, 70% of the damage taken is kept for the next ticket. And for each turn completed, the difficulty gets progressively harder for the next set of tickets.
After completing the first turn, players can also choose to fight Crazy Hand. The Crazy Hand battle does not have a time limit, and the players' current damage determines how much HP they'll start with; players start with 150 HP, with their current damage being added onto their HP along the way. For each turn that's completed, Crazy Hand becomes gradually harder, and if enough turns are completed, an additional opponent or two will join in to fight alongside Crazy Hand. Beginning on turn 14, Master Hand will also join the fray. Crazy Hand's HP also increases with each consecutive turn that's completed, maxing out at 300 HP when paired alongside Master Hand; their HP won't go any higher after 20 turns.
When damaging Crazy Hand or Master Hand, either of them might drop a treasure chest for players to pick up. The chests contain additional prizes, which can even include custom parts for the character that's being used. The number of chests that appear can be affected by how much HP that Crazy Hand has.
If the players successfully defeat Crazy Hand, they'll keep all the rewards that they received. Additional rewards can also be earned, based on how many fighters have been defeated during the Crazy Orders session. However, if the players get KO'd at any time, or the 10-minute timer expires, then portions of their rewards will be lost.
Crazy Orders also keeps track on the number of turns that a fighter has completed in one session. However, if any new records are made with a specific fighter, they'll only be saved if the fighter survives the session.
Custom part rewards
The following table displays the different rewards that the players can potentially receive upon completing any ticket that rewards the players with a custom part.
