Gaur Plain is a location in Xenoblade Chronicles at the foot of Bionis' Leg that appears as a stage in both Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS and for Wii U.
The stage consists of two main upper platforms, and several smaller platforms floating underneath, over the bottom boundary of the stage. Mechonis can be seen in the background of the stage. As time passes, the stage will change from day to night and back to day, like in the game of origin. In the Wii U version, the stage also includes additional platforms, including two solid platforms that feature springs, which can take the player to the top of the stage.
On the Wii U version of the stage, Metal Face appears as a stage boss during the nighttime. He attacks the players by swiping his claws and firing lasers that can destroy the platforms. It is possible to KO him, which destroys him.[1]
The Final Destination version of the stage is set on a flat, elevated platform.
