Metal Face

Metal Face is a primary antagonist in Xenoblade Chronicles. He is responsible for a death of Shulk's old friend, Fiora, causing Shulk to travel across the head of Bionis. Furthermore, Metal Face is the only Mechon in the game that is capable of speaking.

Metal Face appears as the stage boss of Gaur Plain stage in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U. He only appears during the night time, attacking every player with his laser beam. His laser beam attack destroys a portion of stage, which is restored after he leaves. After attacking them with laser beam, he sits on top of a left or right side of the stage, slashing everyone with his claws. Before leaving, he taunts everyone and rams into players, greatly damaging them and possibly blasting them off. Sometimes he just stations himself without shooting his laser beam. He can also attack by slashing his claws. Metal Face can be attacked, and attacking him enough defeats him.

If Shulk is among the fighters, Metal Face will utter special quotes directed to him.
