Mettaurs (also referred to as Mets, Mettools, Metalls, or Hard Hats) are a recurring variety of enemy within the Mega Man franchise. In Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS, Mettaurs appear as enemies in the Smash Run mode; although specifically they are Neo Metalls from Mega Man 2, the game refers to them as Mettaurs. They behave like they do in their series of origin, firing three bullets in different directions in front of it before retreating underneath their helmet. While they are hiding under the helmet they cannot be harmed by any attacks, though they can still be grabbed and thrown.
