The Reaper is an enemy that has so far appeared in all games of the Kid Icarus series. They usually appear on their own, ignoring anything that passes through them. However, if they see Pit, they will zoom into the closest spot available and will summon Reapettes until either they or Pit are defeated, or when Pit moves out of its sight.

The Reapers also appeared in Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS as Smash Run enemies. Like in their series of origin, they walk on their own until they see the player, at which point they stop and start summoning Reapettes. While they are summoning Reapettes, the current playing music will change into 8-bit music.

Name Image Description
Reaper Since he's clearly not planning on doing any gardening, watch out for that scythe! You can tell when one of these has its sights set on you because the music will change and you'll hear a loud scream as it summons its Reapettes. If you always keep your distance and attack from afar, there's no need to fear the Reapers.
