A Reaper with a Reapette in Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS.

The Reapette is an enemy that has so far appeared in every game of the Kid Icarus series. Reapettes are a smaller version of the Reaper, and are summoned by them. They will follow Pit and hurt him on contact. Reapers will continue to summon Reapettes until either their parent is destroyed, Pit is defeated or he is no longer in the Reaper's sight.

Reapettes also appear in Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS as Smash Run enemies. Like in their series of origin, they are summoned by the Reaper and follow the player, damaging them on contact.
