First appearance Super Mario Kodansha manga (Super Mario Kart volume 2) (1993)

The Choropū-dan (チョロプー 弾 Monty Mole bullet?) is a type of bullet created by Bowser in the second Super Mario Kart volume of the Super Mario Kodansha manga. The Choropū-dan contains several Monty Moles that get released once it is fired.

When Mario and his friends were in Bowser's maze, Bowser fired a special type of bullet from his rocket launcher that he created called the Choropū-dan, which was shot into the sky. The Choropū-dan released several Monty Moles from the sky, with them dropping onto the racers, causing most of them crash.

Trivia

  • A cat was also released from the Choropū-dan despite not being a Monty Mole.
