General information
Species Monty Mole
Appearances
First appearance Super Mario-kun Volume 54 (2018)

The Choropū (Kodomo-tachi) (チョロプー(どもたち) Monty Mole (Children)?), also referred to as Chibi Choropū (チビチョロプー Small Monty Moles?) in the corresponding chapter title, are a group of three Monty Mole siblings who appear in Super Mario-kun Volume 54. They are the children of Choropū (Haha), and are designed mostly like normal Monty Moles, though they also have a slight resmablnce to the design of Morty Moles in Super Mario-kun.

In chapter 17, Choropū (Haha) asks Mario and Yoshi to give her Choropū (Kodomo-tachi) a great Christmas, with her even offering to pay Mario if he does it. When Mario and Yoshi arrive at their home (now in a Santa Claus and Reindeer costume respectively), the Choropū (Kodomo-tachi) mistake Mario and Yoshi for thieves at first and attempt to attack the two of them. However, the Choropū (Kodomo-tachi) quickly become excited when Mario reveals that he is Santa. The Choropū (Kodomo-tachi) show Mario (who they still think is Santa Claus) some fishing, with Mario then putting up a Christmas tree (which is actually Yoshi in a costume) to help with the festivities. The Choropū (Kodomo-tachi) then bake a cake for Mario (which was meant for Santa), but Yoshi quickly eats the cake before Mario could get the chance to eat it. Though Mario is slightly angry at Yoshi for eating the cake, the Choropū (Kodomo-tachi) still have a sirloin steak for Mario (which was meant for Santa) called「サンタ食うロース」(Santa kuu rōsu, a pun on "Santa Claus") that they made for him (though Mario wishes he had chicken instead). Mario then takes off his Santa costume, which makes the Choropū (Kodomo-tachi) extremely upset, as they find out that it was actually Mario and not Santa Claus. Mario and Yoshi then quickly run away, only for Mario to remember that he forgot to get paid. However, Choropū (Haha) and her Choropū (Kodomo-tachi) still thank Mario for the wonderful Christmas they had (even if the Choropū (Kodomo-tachi) found out that Mario was not the real Santa Claus).
