A Green Yoshi encountering an Eggo-Dil.

An Eggo-Dil is an enemy resembling a daisy with a smiley face in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island, its remake and its direct sequel. They are flowers with five rotating, bright yellow petals, all of which Yoshi can eat up to refill their egg suppies. They rock these petals back and forth for awhile but soon spray them in all directions. These petals can damage Yoshi, making an Eggo-Dil a formidable opponent. However, a Ground Pound stuns it for a short time and causes all of the petals to fall off. A Chomp Rock destroys it permanently (this doesn't work in Yoshi's Island DS). The plant's face itself cannot hurt Yoshi.

An Eggo-Dil also appears in Tetris Attack, partnered with a Flutter.
