Jirachi is a Steel/Psychic-type Legendary Pokémon that first appeared in Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire. It sleeps for a thousand years before waking for seven days, and has the ability to grant wishes while awake. In Super Smash Bros. Brawl, it can be spawned from a Poké Ball and is one of the few Pokémon that does not fight; Jirachi instead flies away while dropping stickers. It has a 1/493 chance of being summoned, which is a reference to the number of Pokémon that existed at the time of Brawl's release.

A Wish Pokémon. It's said to awaken for seven days once every thousand years, with the ability to grant any wish asked of it. It is truly a Pokémon of which dreams are made. In combat it uses its wish power to attack. Its attack Doom Desire, which causes light to rain down from the heavens to do tremendous damage, is especially powerful.
