The Prince of Sablé is the unnamed main protagonist of the Japan-exclusive Kaeru no Tame ni Kane wa Naru (literally "The Frog for Whom the Bell Tolls"), released on the Game Boy. The Prince of Sablé's first appearance in the series is as a Sticker in Super Smash Bros. Brawl, here referred to as the Sabure Prince. His sticker increases the power of freezing attacks to whoever equips it by 31. In Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS / Wii U, the Sablé Prince appears as an Assist Trophy. He was first announced in a Miiverse post by Masahiro Sakurai[1].He attacks players by transforming into a frog and hopping around, then transforming into a snake and slithering across the ground. If he encounters any opponents, he traps them in a smoke cloud and continuously attacks them, similar to battles in his game of origin; other players can also be caught in this. Afterward, he transforms back into his human form.
