As [[Mario]], [[Pit]], [[Yoshi]], [[Link]], and [[Kirby]] chase [[King Dedede]], who has the [[Zelda]]/[[Princess Peach]] trophy, the [[Ness]] trophy, and the [[Luigi]] trophy, they arrive at The Cave. Venturing through the cave, fighting enemies on the way, also dodging obstacles such as [[Spikes]], [[Bottomless Pit]] and rock walls that crush them, they arrive to the back of the cave, where atop on a hill, King Dedede's Castle sits; and the [[Halberd]] flying behind it.
After arriving at King Dedede's Castle, [[Mario]], [[Pit]], [[Yoshi]], [[Link]], and [[Kirby]] found a cave behind a broken wall in the throne room. Assuming [[King Dedede]] fled into the caverns, they followed it. At the end of the cave, they find not King Dedede but [[Bowser]] instead. Mario proceeds to attack the Koopa king only to back off after seeing that Bowser uses [[Peach]]/[[Zelda]]'s trophy as a shield. Pit fires an arrow at Bowser, who dodges it but fell off a cliff. He came back in his [[Koopa Clown Car]] cackling at the group as he fled to the [[Halberd]] with his prize. As the group got frustrated seeing that Bowser got away, Kirby went to inspect the Dedede badge that recently fell off of Peach/Zelda's trophy.

Meanwhile, the [[Ancient Minister]] has set up another Subspace Bomb at King Dedede's Castle and detonates it, allowing the castle to be engulfed into subspace. At the same time, [[Ganondorf]] was contacted by the [[Master Hand]], who gave him his next assignment. Ganondorf bowed and grinned revealing that he planned to betray him in the end.

The Cave

The Cave is a stage in the Subspace Emissary in the game Super Smash Bros. Brawl.

After arriving at King Dedede's Castle, Mario, Pit, Yoshi, Link, and Kirby found a cave behind a broken wall in the throne room. Assuming King Dedede fled into the caverns, they followed it. At the end of the cave, they find not King Dedede but Bowser instead. Mario proceeds to attack the Koopa king only to back off after seeing that Bowser uses Peach/Zelda's trophy as a shield.
