Species origin Shy Guy

Unnoticed Shy Guys are a rare type of Shy Guy only appearing in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island, its remake, Yoshi's Island: Super Mario Advance 3, and Yoshi's Island DS. Unnoticed Shy Guys hide behind foreground objects, such as bushes and crystals. If a Yoshi comes into contact with an Unnoticed Shy Guy, a Bandit will appear to steal Baby Mario, and the Unnoticed Shy Guy will ride Yoshi similar to a Grim Leecher. Unnoticed Shy Guys can be defeated with any attack while hiding. Once Baby Mario is retrieved, the Unnoticed Shy Guy falls off Yoshi's back and behaves similarly to a standard Shy Guy from that point forward.
