A Blow Hard is a Pokey that fires Needlenoses at Yoshi in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island, Yoshi's Island: Super Mario Advance 3 and Yoshi's Island DS. It always has a blinking crosshair to tell where it is firing. It is invincible, but the player can pound the ground nearby or egg it to temporarily knock it out, but it will wake up a few seconds later. Blow Hards will always be facing Yoshi, so the player has to be careful. Any solid objects and platforms can stop their projectiles, however. It can be defeated in the former with a Special Blue Watermelon. In Yoshi's Island DS, they are very common in World 5 and they are just as common in the Secret Levels and Extra Levels.
