It has been requested that this article be rewritten. Reason: Find out where the cat that dropped alongside the Monty Moles originated (as it is likely a reference to something).

The Choropū-dan (チョロプー 弾 Monty Mole bullet?) is a type of bullet created by Bowser in the second Super Mario Kart volume of the Super Mario Kodansha manga. The Choropū-dan contains several Monty Moles that are released from it once it is fired.

When Mario and his friends were in Bowser's maze, Bowser fired the Choropū-dan into the sky with his rocket launcher. The Choropū-dan would then explode, releasing several Monty Moles from the sky that dropped onto the racers and cause several of them to crash.

Trivia

  • A cat was also released from the Choropū-dan despite not being a Monty Mole.
