Hanenbow in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate

Hanenbow is an unlockable stage in Super Smash Bros. Brawl and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, from the game Electroplankton. It is unlocked by completing "Event Match 28: Flower Blooms in the Echoes." This stage is a leafy, swamp-like place. The leaves, if attacked, will rock and turn yellow then red. There are Hanenbow that fly around the stage, bouncing off the leaves and can hit players. There is also water at the bottom of the stage which is simply fallen through, unlike other appearances of water. This is one of three stages to have its own icon (a Nanocarp) without having a playable character to go alongside it, the others being Smashville and PictoChat.

The Hanenbow creature also has a sticker in Super Smash Bros. Brawl, and appears as a spirit in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.

Trivia

Template:NIWA

  • In Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Hanenbow has only ambience as background music. Players cannot add any music to the stage, not even through the My Music mode, as Hanenbow does not appear in "My Music" even after being unlocked. This is because the leaves create various tones when hit, which would interfere with any music playing.
    • In Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, any music track available in the "Nintendo" playlist can be selected to play on this stage, including the background ambience as well as a new remix made for the stage.
  • In Hanenbow, players are flattened, similar to the stages Flat Zone and Flat Zone 2.
