It has been requested that this article be rewritten and expanded to include more information. Reason: include information pertaining to the The Legend of Zelda franchise

This article is about the object and symbol from The Legend of Zelda franchise. For information about the arcade unit, see Triforce (arcade board).
Not to be confused with Great Force.

The Triforce is a golden sacred relic and a symbol featured in the The Legend of Zelda franchise. Since its debut appearance in the first The Legend of Zelda, the Triforce has been featured in almost every game within the The Legend of Zelda franchise. The Triforce is made up of three parts: the Triforce of Power, the Triforce of Wisdom, and the Triforce of Courage, with the bearer of each usually being Ganondorf, Princess Zelda, and Link respectively.

In Super Smash Bros. Melee's Adventure mode, the Triforce is featured in the Underground Maze, in which the player's fighter has to search for its location. It is located on one of six podiums hidden in the maze. If they come across the wrong one, they end up fighting one of five Links. Once the Triforce is found, the player's fighter has to fight Princess Zelda at the Temple.

In the Super Smash Bros. series, a Triforce is an emblem representing the The Legend of Zelda franchise. By extension, this means it appears next the character portrait of the playable The Legend of Zelda characters: Link, Zelda, Young Link, Toon Link, and Ganondorf. The Triforce is also shown in the Triforce Slash in Super Smash Bros. Brawl, Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS / Wii U and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.

In the The Legend of Zelda × Mario Kart 8 DLC pack of Mario Kart 8, there are the Triforce Tires and the Hylian Kite, both of which feature the Triforce symbol, as well as the Triforce Cup. Link also briefly displays the Triforce as one of the tricks he can do. The Triforce is also featured as his emblem.
